April 13, 2016 marked the annual 3rd grade Chicago World’s Fair.
The third grade students got to step back in time to The World’s Colombian Exposition, celebrating the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s landing in America, held in 1893 on the site of the current Museum of Science and Industry, on Chicago’s south side. The cafeteria was transformed into the infamous ‘White City’ while the gym simulatedthe fair’s Midway and Chicago’s surrounding neighborhoods.
