Thank you Parents!

Generous donations and participation in fundraising events by our parents and sponsors raised $102,600 for the 2015/16 school year (July 2015 to June 2016)! This funds all of PTO's programs and events, which in turn help our children learn in a fun, efficient and exciting environment.

Funding in detail

Picture
Membership: Our membership drive was supported by over 700 families and sponsorship from local businesses.

$103 for 103 program: This year we had 174 parents generously donate to this simple campaign, and several included an employers' match.

School Programs: Our school fundraising programs include School Supplies (PTO partnership with EPI to presell school supply packs in the Spring for the next school year), Spirit Wear (Sale of a variety of Sprague, Half Day and DW clothing) and DW Pizza Lunch (providing Wednesday pizza lunches for DW students).

Premier PTO Partners – We had five local businesses sign up as Annual Sponsors supporting all the PTO programs for the 2015/16 school year. Thank you to Nielsen Massey, Tamarak, Lincolnshire Sports Association, Julianne Spilotro Coldwell Banker and Howard Simon & Assoc., for their continued support of PTO efforts!

Book Fair - This event in December allowed PTO to raise almost $3,800 while also pulling the community together through performances by numerous classes and student groups.
It also was a great chance to give back by donating both new and used books to local organizations in need such as Bernie’s Book Bank! Parents also purchased books for teachers/staff through our Teachers’ Wish List program and the PTO donated $1,000 back in books to the school libraries.

Run for D103/5K - Our 6th annual run took place on May 21st. We had 568 people register to race. This year, the Run for D103 5K Run/Walk was sponsored and
supported by all three volunteer organizations within District 103. The goals for the proceeds from this event were to bring 21st Century learning tools to our schools including state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment, STEM technology and music room updates. This event raised nearly $17,500.
